Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware will expand their retail support center in West Jefferson.  The expansion will add 309,000 sq ft to its existing 534,000 sq ft and will add 72 new full-time equivalent jobs at the facility.




Amazon will build a new state-of-the-art fulifillment center in West Jefferson.  The new 855,000 sq ft facility will open in 2019 and the company has committed to create 1,500 full-time equivelant jobs at the site.


Jefferson Industries Corporation

Jefferson Industries CorporationAutomotive components manufacturer Jefferson Industries Corporation has announced their expansion at its West Jefferson, Ohio headquarters.  

The total investment for the project is $18 million with 61,000 square feet of new manufacturing space.  The company plans to hire 20 employees with the expansion.  Madison County was in competition with Georgia for this project.

Building Systems Transportation

Building Systems Transportation acquired an existing facility in Mt. Sterling to expand their operations in Madison County.  The rehabilitated facility will bring 25 new jobs and a significant investment to Mt. Sterling and the County. 



EliteFTSEliteFTS announced in February 2016 that it will be expanding from its current 13,000 sq ft campus into an newly built 30,000 sq ft facility in the City of London.  

The project, which will help expand operations and better serve their customers, will have an investment of $1.5M and will create 4 new jobs here in the community.  The company will also retain 14 jobs.  Madison County was in competition with Columbus and Marysville for this project.  


Beck's Hybrids

Beck's HybridsBeck's Hybrids, headquartered in Atlanta, Indiana will begin construction on a 53,700 sq ft distribution facility in Madison County.

Construction of the $6M facility, which will be located in Deer Creek Township, will be complete Spring of 2015. Five full-time employees will be hired for distribution support and two full-time employees will be hired for practical farm research. Sales operations will also operate out of the facility. 

M.H. Eby Inc.

MH Eby IncM.H. Eby, located in Jefferson Township and headquartered in Pennsylvania, needed to expand at its facility in Madison County. There was also a risk that an expansion could occur at a facility in Iowa, relocating 30 manufacturing jobs from Madison County. Madison County worked with local management to have the expansion in Jefferson Township. Construction of a 17,000 facility, valued at $1.0M, will be complete in December 2014, creating 12 new FTE positions and retaining 30 manufacturing jobs in Ohio and Madison County.

Keihin Thermal Technology of America

Keihin Thermal Technology of AmericaKeihin Thermal Technology is expanding into a 100,000 sq ft facility in Mt. Sterling and Madison County.  Real property investment for the project is $5.0 M, and 90 new jobs will be created at the site; the 90 new jobs will be coming from Indiana. Mt. Sterling Holdings LLC will build the facility and lease to Keihin Thermal Technology.


Stanley Electric

Stanley ElectricStanley Electric expanded into 50,000 sq ft of space owned by Building Systems Transporation in London, Ohio. One hundred and fifty manufacturing jobs were created with this project. The facility will allow Stanley to increase production for its customers.

G-Tekt North America

G-Tekt North AmericaG-Tekt North America built a $28.6M manufacturing facility in West Jefferson.  At full production, the 173,000 sq ft facility will employ 100 people. The building will serve as an auto stamping facility serving various Japanese automakers, including Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mazda. 

Ace Hardware

Ace HardwareGroundbreaking for the 534,040 sq ft Ace Hardware distribution and warehouse facility in West Jefferson, Ohio was August 27, 2013.

The warehouse, which has 84 truck bays will serve retail stores in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan. The facility will employ 100 people and is capable to expand another 280,000 sq ft. Total investment for the project is $28.6 M. Duke Realty will build the facility and lease to Ace Hardware.
