In addition to being 18 miles from Columbus, Interstates 70 and 71 connect our businesses to additional major metropolitan markets. Other major highways in the county include U.S. Route 42, US Route 40 and State Routes 56, 38, 142 and 665.

A Norfolk Southern rail line runs through London, Ohio and Madison County.


Education 

The 11 county Columbus Region is home to over 2 million people and 63 colleges and universities with 20,000 graduates annually.  The Ohio State University, Ohio Dominican University, Franklin University, Capital University, Columbus State are all within a half an hour drive from Madison County.  Clark State Community College and Wittenberg University in Springfield are also within a 30 minute drive from our county.

Madison County is also home to four public school districts: London, Jefferson, Jonathan Alder and Madison-Plains. St. Patrick School is a K-8 parochial school located in the City of London. Tolles Career Technical Center serves as the career tech school in Madison County. Some programs offered to high school students at Tolles is Health Science, Construction and Manufacturing, Agriculture and Environmental, Law and Public Safety and Arts & Communication.

Workforce training and development is offered through Tolles Career Technical Center. Tolles offers customized training programs for businesses and aduilt education courses for individuals looking to develop new skills or enhance the skills they currently possess.

Our office also has strong relationships with Clark State Community College and Columbus State Community College; both schools provide workforce training programs for employers in Madison County.

Madison County is home to a diverse set of industries, from manufacturing and distribution to research & development, healthcare and retail. Some of the larger employers in the County are Stanley Electric US, Target (Distribution Center), Bon Ton (Distribution Center), Nissen Chemitec America, Restoration Hardware, Staples (Distribution Center), DB Schenker and Mars Petcare, Jefferson Industries, Battelle, and Keihin Thermal Technology America.
